Abstract
Description
(i)水性分散液の重量に基づき、40重量%〜98.9重量%の水と、
(ii)水性分散液の重量に基づき、1重量%〜40重量%の中空ポリマー粒子であって、中空ポリマー粒子の重量に基づき、1つ以上のマルチビニルモノマーの0.01重量%〜20重量%の重合単位を含み、水中に分散される、中空ポリマー粒子と、
(iii)水性分散液の重量に基づき、0.1重量%〜20重量%の1つ以上のポリオールと、を含む水性分散液である。
(a)
(i)水性分散液の重量に基づき、1重量%〜40重量%の中空ポリマー粒子であって、中空ポリマー粒子の重量に基づき、1つ以上のマルチビニルモノマーの0.01重量%〜20重量%の重合単位を含む、中空ポリマー粒子と、
(ii)水性分散液の重量に基づき、40重量%〜98.9重量%の水と、
(iii)水性分散液の重量に基づき、0.1重量%〜20重量%の1つ以上の有機アルコールと、を含む、水性分散液を提供するステップと、
(b)水性分散液から水を除去して、中空ポリマー粒子とアルコールとを含む乾燥組成物を形成するステップであって、水は、乾燥組成物に存在していないか、あるいは水は、水対中空ポリマー粒子の重量比が0.2:1以下であるような量で乾燥組成物中に存在するかのいずれかである、ステップと、を含む。
Dv50=粒子の集合体の特徴。Dv50は、粒子の集合体中の正確に50体積%の粒子がDv50未満の直径を有するように選択される直径である。
Dv90=Dv50とは無関係の粒子の集合体の特徴。Dv90は、粒子の集合体中の正確に90体積%の粒子がDv90未満の直径を有するように選択される直径である。
DVB=ジビニルベンゼン
MMA=メチルメタクリレート
HP−1=水性乳化重合によって生成される中空ポリマー粒子の水性分散液。体積平均粒径=0.4μm。HP−1の重量に基づき、26重量%のポリマー含有量。空隙率=30%。重量部での重合単位の全組成物:15部のDVB/60部のスチレン/25部のMMA。水性分散液中、Dv50は、0.48μmである。
HP−2C=マルチビニルモノマーなしで作製される中空ポリマー粒子のポリマーラテックス。HP−2Cの重量に基づき、30重量%のポリマー含有量。
結合剤−1=The Dow Chemical Companyによって供給され、結合剤−1の重量に基づき、47重量%のポリマー固体として供給される、Lucidene(商標)606 APEF乳剤、軟質スチレン−アクリルポリマーラテックス。
PCC=沈殿炭酸カルシウム
GCC=粉砕炭酸カルシウム
HPMC=The Dow Chemical CompanyからのMethocel(商標)VLVヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース
PVOH=SolvayからのRhodoviol(商標)4/20ポリビニルアルコール
a−CD=α−シクロデキストリン
Claims (10)
- 中空ポリマー組成物を作製する方法であって、
(a)
(i)水性分散液の重量に基づき、1重量%〜40重量%の中空ポリマー粒子であって、前記中空ポリマー粒子の重量に基づき、1つ以上のマルチビニルモノマーの0.01重量%〜20重量%の重合単位を含む、中空ポリマー粒子と、
(ii)前記水性分散液の重量に基づき、40重量%〜98.9重量%の水と、
(iii)前記水性分散液の重量に基づき、0.1重量%〜20重量%の1つ以上の有機アルコールと、を含む、前記水性分散液を提供するステップと、
(b)前記水性分散液から水を除去して、前記中空ポリマー粒子と前記アルコールとを含む乾燥組成物を形成するステップであって、水は、前記乾燥組成物に存在していないか、あるいは水は、水対中空ポリマー粒子の重量比が0.2:1以下であるような量で前記乾燥組成物中に存在するかのいずれかである、ステップと、を含む、方法。 - ステップ(b)の後に、
(c)非水性媒体中に前記乾燥組成物の分散液を形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 中空ポリマー粒子と、1つ以上の有機アルコールと、を含む、中空ポリマー組成物であって、
前記有機アルコール対前記中空ポリマー粒子の重量比は、0.01:1〜1:1であり、
前記中空ポリマー粒子は、前記中空ポリマー粒子の重量に基づき、1つ以上のマルチビニルモノマーの0.01〜20重量%の重合単位を含み、
水は、前記水対前記中空ポリマー粒子の重量比が0:1〜0.05:1であるような量で、前記中空ポリマー組成物中に任意に存在する、中空ポリマー組成物。 - ポリオールは、200以下の分子量を有するポリオール、シクロデキストリン、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項3に記載の中空ポリマー組成物。
- 前記ポリオールは、グリセロールである、請求項3に記載の中空ポリマー組成物。
- 前記マルチビニルモノマーは、ジビニルベンゼンである、請求項3に記載の中空ポリマー組成物。
- 前記中空ポリマー粒子は、コアポリマーと、シェルポリマーと、を含み、前記シェルポリマー対前記コアポリマーの重量比は、8:1〜15:1である、請求項3に記載の中空ポリマー組成物。
- 非水性媒体中に分散した1つ以上の有機アルコールと、中空ポリマー粒子と、を含む、非水性分散液。
- 無機顔料と、結合剤ポリマーと、をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の非水性分散液。
- 前記非水性媒体は、エタノールを含む、請求項8に記載の非水性分散液。
