Abstract
Description
本発明は、このような事情を考慮してなされたものであり、衝突が生じる際に車両シートを有効に利用して乗員を保護することができる車両シート制御装置、車両シート制御方法、及びプログラムを提供することを目的の一つとする。
図1は、第1実施形態の車両シート制御装置1の車両シート10の構成を示す側面図である。乗員が着座する車両シート10は、床面Fに対して回転自在に設けられている。車両シート10の片側の側面には、衝突時等に乗員を保護するシートベルト装置20が設けられている。車両シート制御装置1が搭載される車両(以下、車両Mと称する)は、例えば、二輪や三輪、四輪等の車両であり、その駆動源は、ディーゼルエンジンやガソリンエンジン等の内燃機関、電動機、或いはこれらの組み合わせである。電動機は、内燃機関に連結された発電機による発電電力、或いは二次電池や燃料電池の放電電力を使用して動作する。

シート方向検出部14aは、車両Mの前方に対する車両シート10のシート角度を検出する。制御部80は、シート方向検出部14aの出力に基づいて第1駆動部14bを制御して、車両シート10が車両Mにおいて正面方向に向いた状態から回転角度θまで回転させる。また、制御部80は、回転角度θを予め定められた車両シート10の複数の方向で近似してもよい。複数の方向とは、例えば、車両Mの前方から360°を例えば10°毎などの所定の角度のステップで分割して定められた方向であってもよい。
第1実施形態の車両シート制御装置1は、衝突予測部50による車両Mの衝突方向の予測に基づいて車両シート10のシート方向を変更して乗員を保護した。第2実施形態では、シート方向の変更に加えて、車両シート10の座面11aまたは背もたれ部の少なくとも一方を変形して乗員の身体を保護する。以下の説明では、第1実施形態と同一の名称及び符号を適宜用い、重複する説明は省略する。
第1実施形態の車両シート10は、衝突が生じる方向に対して反対方向にシート方向を向けて、衝突発生時に背もたれ部12によって乗員Dを受け止めて乗員を保護した。第3実施形態では、衝突発生後に車両シートを移動させることによって衝突の衝撃を低減させる。
Claims (11)
- 車両に生じる衝突の衝突方向を予測する衝突予測部と、
車両シートを前記車両の略上下方向の軸まわりに回転駆動する第1駆動部と、
前記衝突予測部により予測された前記衝突方向に基づいて、前記第1駆動部を制御して前記車両シートの方向を前記衝突方向に対して反対向きに制御部と、を備える、
車両シート制御装置。 - 前記衝突予測部は、更に、前記車両に生じる衝突の態様を予測し、
前記制御部は、前記衝突予測部によって予測された前記衝突の態様に基づいて、前記車両シートの複数の方向または複数の回転速度から決定した前記車両シートの方向または回転速度により前記第1駆動部を制御する、
請求項1に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - 前記衝突予測部は、更に、衝突が発生するまでの時間を予測し、
前記制御部は、前記衝突予測部によって予測された前記時間の長さに基づいて、複数の回転速度から決定した回転速度により前記第1駆動部を制御する、
請求項1または2に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - 前記衝突予測部によって予測される衝突方向が、衝突が発生するまでに更新された場合、
前記制御部は、更新された衝突方向の予測に基づいて前記第1駆動部を制御して、前記車両シートの方向を調整する、
請求項1から3いずれか1項に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - 前記車両シートの座面または背もたれ部が有するサイドサポートの少なくとも一方を変形して乗員の身体を保護する身体保護部を更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記衝突予測部によって予測された衝突が発生するまでの時間の間に前記車両シートの回転が完了しない場合、前記身体保護部を動作させる、
請求項1から4いずれか1項に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - 前記車両シートの背もたれ部のサイドサポートを乗員に対して突出させる第2駆動部を更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記車両シートを回転させた後、前記第2駆動部を制御して前記サイドサポートを突出させる、
請求項1から5いずれか1項に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - 前記車両シートの座面を上昇方向に移動させる第3駆動部を更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記衝突予測部によって衝突が予測された場合、前記第3駆動部を制御して前記座面を上昇させると共に、前記第1駆動部を制御して前記車両シートの方向を変更する、
請求項1から6いずれか1項に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - 前記車両シートの座面を上昇方向に移動させる第3駆動部を更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記衝突が発生した後、前記第3駆動部を制御して、前記座面を上昇させる、
請求項1から7いずれか1項に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - 前記車両シートが前記制御部によって衝突方向に対して反対向きに回転された後、前記車両シートを前記衝突方向側に衝突速度よりも低い速度で移動させる減速部を更に備える、
請求項1から8いずれか1項に記載の車両シート制御装置。 - コンピュータが、
車両に生じる衝突の衝突方向を予測し、
車両シートを前記車両の略上下方向の軸まわりに回転駆動し、
予測された前記衝突方向に基づいて、前記車両シートの方向を前記衝突方向に対して反対向きに変更する、
車両シート制御方法。 - コンピュータに、
車両に生じる衝突の衝突方向を予測させ、
車両シートを前記車両の略上下方向の軸まわりに回転駆動させ、
