Abstract
【解決手段】エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体と、架橋剤とを含む太陽電池用封止膜であって、60℃雰囲気における体積固有抵抗が1.0×1013〜5.0×1014Ω・cmであることを特徴とする太陽電池用封止膜。

Description
本発明の太陽電池用封止膜は、エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体及び架橋剤を含む。
本発明の太陽電池用封止膜は、エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体の他に、架橋剤を少なくとも含む。これにより、架橋の際の高い反応性を維持しながら、膜強度や耐久性に優れる太陽電池用封止膜を得ることができる。
さらに、本発明の太陽電池用封止膜は、必要に応じて、架橋助剤を含んでいてもよい。前記架橋助剤は、エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体のゲル分率を向上させ、絶縁性を向上させることができる。また、上述した体積固有抵抗が所望の値を有する太陽電池用封止膜とするには、主に架橋助剤の含有量および種類を調整するのが好ましい。
本発明の太陽電池用封止膜は、太陽電池内部の封止性能を考慮すると、優れた接着力を有するのが好ましい。したがって、前記太陽電池用封止膜は、接着向上剤をさらに含んでいるのがよい。
本発明の太陽電池用封止膜は、膜の種々の物性(機械的強度、透明性等の光学的特性、耐熱性、耐光性、架橋速度等)の改良あるいは調整のため、必要に応じて、受酸剤、可塑剤、アクリロキシ基含有化合物、メタクリロキシ基含有化合物及び/又はエポキシ基含有化合物などの各種添加剤をさらに含んでいてもよい。
(1)エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA100質量部に対する酢酸ビニル(VA)含有量20質量部)100質量部
(2)架橋剤1(2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(tert−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン)1.0質量部
(3)架橋助剤(トリアリルイソシアヌレート)2.0質量部
(4)添加剤 (γ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン)0.5質量部
上記配合のEVA組成物を用いて、80℃でカレンダー成形して、EVA膜(厚さ600μm)を製膜した。
架橋剤1の他、架橋剤2(tert−ブチルパーオキシ2−エチルヘキシルモノカーボネート)を用い、それぞれ表1及び2に示す配合とした以外は、実施例1と同様にしてEVA組成物を調製してEVA膜を成膜した。
各実施例および比較例で作製したEVA膜の評価を下記手順に従って行った。結果は、まとめて表1及び2に示す。
リングタイプ電極(三菱化学株式会社製 UR−100プローブ)に、60℃雰囲気下、100mm×100mmの大きさに打ち抜いたEVA膜を設置して、1000Vの電圧を印加し、高抵抗計(三菱化学株式会社製 ハイレスターUPMCP−HT450)にて1分後の抵抗値を測定し、その値をもとに体積固有抵抗値を算出した。
(1)擬似太陽電池モジュールの作製
230mm×230mmの大きさに打ち抜いたEVA膜を、表面側封止膜23A及び裏面側封止膜23Bとして用い、図2に示すように、裏面側封止膜23Bと、銅箔24A及び24Bと、表面側封止膜23Aと、ガラス基板(厚さ3mm)21とが、この順で且つ銅箔24A及び24Bが封止された状態となるように積層させ、得られた積層体を90℃雰囲気下に10分間設置することにより各封止膜を予備成形させた後、さらに155℃で45分間加熱することにより各封止膜を架橋させ、擬似太陽電池モジュールを作製した。
上記で作製した擬似太陽電池モジュールを60℃雰囲気下に設置し、高電圧絶縁抵抗計(ハイビットメガ1405(D1−11N) 株式会社ムサシインテック製)を使用し、1000Vの電圧を印加して1分後の銅箔24Aと銅箔24Bとの間の抵抗を測定することにより、裏面側封止膜23Bの絶縁抵抗を測定した。
EVA膜の加工性として、EVA膜作製時のカレンダー成形する際の製膜性及び太陽電池モジュールを作製する際の成形性を評価した。なお、EVA膜作製時のカレンダー成形する際の製膜性は、EVA膜のカレンダーへの貼り付きや所望の厚さへの加工し易さに基づき判断し、太陽電池モジュールを作製する際の成形性は、モジュール作製時にEVA膜のはみ出しの有無に基づき判断した。

Claims (10)
- エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体及び架橋剤を含む太陽電池用封止膜であって、
60℃雰囲気における体積固有抵抗が1.0×1013〜5.0×1014Ω・cmであることを特徴とする太陽電池用封止膜。 - 前記エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体が、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体における酢酸ビニル含有量が、前記エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して20〜28質量部であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記架橋剤の含有量が、前記エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体100質量部に対して0.1〜1.0質量部であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記架橋剤が、2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(tert−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサンであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- さらに架橋助剤を、前記エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体100質量部に対して0.1〜3.0質量部含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記架橋助剤が、トリアリルシアヌレート及び/又はトリアリルイソシアヌレートであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- さらにシランカップリング剤を、前記エチレン−極性モノマー共重合体100質量部に対して0.1〜0.7質量部含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 前記シランカップリング剤が、γ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシランであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 表面側透明保護部材と裏面側保護部材との間に封止膜を介在させ、架橋一体化させることにより太陽電池用セルを封止してなる太陽電池において、
前記封止膜が、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜であることを特徴とする太陽電池。
