Abstract
緻密で、粉末の粒度分布が狭い微粒子化の可能な、新しい無機酸化物又は無機水酸化物粉末の製造方法を提供する。
【解決手段】
酸、水酸又はその他の溶媒に溶解した無機物溶液を噴霧して薄膜を遠心盤上に生成させる薄膜生成工程、前記薄膜を遠心盤の高速回転により飛散させて、微細液滴化する細粒化工程、生成された微細液滴を結晶化する結晶化工程を含むことを特徴とする無機酸化物又は無機水酸化物の粉末化法とする。

などが知られている。また、粉体の微粒子化と粒度分布制御のためにガス噴霧法と遠心噴霧法を組み合わせた方法などが提案されている(特許文献2)。これらの方法は噴霧媒体の集中的な力や遠心力により微細液滴を飛散し、その溶滴を冷却することにより容易に粉体が得られる金属粉末製造方法として、有効な手段とされてきた。だが、無機酸化物や無機水酸化物の場合には、これを加熱溶融させることは難しく、溶融させれば、その化学的性質が変化してしまうので、このような方法を取ることは不可能とされていた。

にも例示したように、平板状のもの(A)でもよいし、無機物溶液の種類によっては、微細液滴(6)を得るために傘型円錐状のもの(B)等を用いてもよい。
ぬれ性の悪い材質を選択すると遠心盤(4)上で健全な薄膜が形成されず,微細な液滴を生成することができず、粉末の粒子径を制御することもできなくなる。
これら複数の元素を含むものを作成する場合は、これら元素が所望の状態に化合したものを溶液化するか、それぞれ単独で液化してある溶液を混合し、結晶化の段階で化学変化を起こさせるようにすることができる。
たはアルカリ水溶液、さらには水などが使用可能であるが、これのみに限定されるものではない。酸またはアルカリとしては、無機酸、有機酸、有機アミン類、水酸化物など何れでも良く、例えば無機酸としては、硝酸、リン酸、硫酸、塩酸、有機酸としては、蟻酸、シュウ酸、酢酸、プロピオン酸、コハク酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、クエン酸、アジピン酸、ムチン酸、安息香酸、サリチル酸、フタル酸、イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸、トリメリト酸、セバシン酸、ピロメリト酸、ステアリン酸、有機アミン類としては、トリメチルアミン、ジメチルアミン、水酸化物としては、水酸化アンモニウム、水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウムなどを挙げることができるが、これのみに限定されるものではない。
界面活性剤としては、アニオン界面活性剤、カチオン界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤または非イオン活性剤などが適宜使用できる。例えばデシル硫酸ナトリウム、ドデシル硫酸ナトリウム、臭化ドデシルトリメチルアンモニウム、塩化ドデシルピリジニウム、ドデシルジメチルアンモニオプロパンカルボキシラート、N−ドデシル−N,N−ジメチルグリシン、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノラウレート(TWEEN 20)、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノパルミテート(TWEEN 40)などを挙げることができるが、これのみに限定されるものではない。

上記無機材を溶解する溶媒としては、有機溶媒に限定されるものではなく、無機溶媒でも良く、もちろん溶解すれば水でもよい。
また無機溶媒としては、液体アンモニア、液体二酸化炭素、シリコーンオイルなどが挙げられるが、通常良く使用されるものとしては、水との混合物である酸またはアルカリ水溶液が挙げられる。
酸化・水酸化していない無機物溶液を粉末化処理するのに有用である。
た段階で急速に加熱されて、飛散中に析出結晶し結晶化するものと考えられる。
この場合、結晶化の完成を飛散中に行うことは、ほとんどの場合不可能と思われるので、飛散中には析出結晶して結晶化するものと思われる。
完全な結晶を得られる場合があるが、その場合は、チャンバー(7)内に結晶化後に放置することにより結晶化が完成したものと思われる。
例えばペロブスカイト型あるいはスピネル型などの構造を有する粉末が製造できる。ペロブスカイト型構造を有する例としては、コンデンサー材料である強誘電体の酸化チタンバリウムおよびこれの誘導体が挙げられる。またスピネル型構造を有する例としては、耐摩耗性材料である酸化アルミニウムマグネシウムなどが挙げられる。
四塩化チタン(純度99.9%)に水を加え、四塩化チタンの濃度が1モル/リットルの水溶液を調整した。この水溶液3リットルを還流冷却器及び攪拌装置付きの反応槽に装入し、沸点付近(104℃)まで加熱し、約30分間保持して無機酸化物の溶液を調製した。

の装置構成において、前記無機物溶液(1)を試料容器に投入し、下方の2mm径のノズル口(2)から空気ガスジェットをガス圧力0.6MPaで噴出させ、40度角のコニカルジェットを構成させ、この空気ガスジェット内部に試料溶液を自由落下させて微少液滴として遠心盤(4)上に吹き付けた。

(A)のような直径50mmφの円盤状のものを用いて、回転速度を40000rpm一定として行った。

中のチャンバー(7)内の最高温度帯域を800℃にして粉末を回収した。得られた試料の形態観察は電界放出型走査型電子顕微鏡(HITACHI S−5000)を用い、加速電圧10kVにて行った。結果を図3に示す。さらに前記粒子のX線回折測定の結果99%以上の結晶性酸化チタンであることが確認された。

Claims (3)
- 酸、水酸又はその他の溶媒に溶解した無機物溶液を噴霧して薄膜を遠心盤上に生成させる薄膜生成工程、前記薄膜を遠心盤の高速回転により飛散させて、微細液滴化する細粒化工程、生成された微細液滴を結晶化する結晶化工程を含むことを特徴とする無機酸化物又は無機水酸化物の粉末化法。
- 請求項1に記載の粉末化法において、溶媒に溶解した無機物溶液では、結晶化工程において、無機物を酸化又は水酸化することを特徴とする無機酸化物又は無機水酸化物の粉末化法。
- 請求項1に記載の粉末化法において、酸又は水酸に無機物を溶解した無機溶液では、その結晶化工程において、無機酸化物又は無機水酸化物を析出結晶させることで結晶化することを特徴とする無機酸化物又は無機水酸化物の粉末化法。
