Abstract
【解決手段】天然ゴムラテックスに極性基含有メルカプト化合物を添加し、該極性基含有メルカプト化合物を天然ゴムラテックス中の天然ゴム分子に付加させてなる変性天然ゴムラテックスと、該変性天然ゴムラテックスを凝固及び乾燥してなる変性天然ゴムと、該変性天然ゴムを用いたゴム組成物である。

[式中、Mは、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、チタン、カルシウム及びジルコニウムからなる群から選ばれる金属、これらの金属の酸化物又は水酸化物、及びそれらの水和物、またはこれらの金属の炭酸塩から選ばれる少なくとも一種であり;n、x、y及びzは、それぞれ1〜5の整数、0〜10の整数、2〜5の整数、及び0〜10の整数である]で表される無機化合物が挙げられる。これら充填剤は、一種単独で用いてもよし、二種以上を混合して用いてもよい。
(天然ゴムラテックスの変性反応工程)
フィールドラテックスに水を添加して、乾燥ゴム濃度30%のラテックスを得た。このラテックス2000gを、撹拌機及び温調ジャケットを備えたステンレス製反応容器に投入し、予め10mLの水と90mgの乳化剤[エマルゲン1108,花王株式会社製]を2-メルカプトエチルアミン 1.2gに加えて乳化したものを添加し、撹拌しながら60℃で8時間反応させることにより、変性天然ゴムラテックスを得た。
次に、上記変性天然ゴムラテックスにギ酸を加えpHを4.7に調整し、変性天然ゴムラテックスを凝固させた。このようにして得られた固形物をクレーパーで5回処理し、シュレッダーに通してクラム化した後、熱風式乾燥機により110℃で210分間乾燥して変性天然ゴムAを得た。また、得られた変性天然ゴムAにおけるメルカプト化合物の付加量を熱分解ガスクロマトグラフ−質量分析計を用いて分析したところ、天然ゴムラテックス中のゴム成分に対して0.16質量%であった。
極性基含有メルカプト化合物として2-メルカプトエチルアミン 1.2gの代わりに、表1に示す極性基含有メルカプト化合物を表1に示す量加える以外は、上記製造例1と同様にして変性天然ゴムB〜Gを得た。また、変性天然ゴムAと同様にして、変性天然ゴムB〜Gのメルカプト化合物の付加量を分析して、表1に示す結果を得た。
上記天然ゴムラテックスを変性反応工程を経ずに、直接、凝固及び乾燥させて天然ゴムHを調製した。
JIS K6300-1994に準拠して、130℃にてゴム組成物のムーニー粘度ML1+4(130℃)を測定した。
上記ゴム組成物を145℃で33分間加硫して得た加硫ゴムに対し、JIS K6301-1995に準拠して引張試験を行い、引張強さ(Tb)を測定した。引張強さが大きい程、耐破壊性が良好であることを示す。
上記ゴム組成物を145℃で33分間加硫して得た加硫ゴムに対し、粘弾性測定装置[レオメトリックス社製]を用い、温度50℃、歪み5%、周波数15Hzで損失正接(tanδ)を測定した。tanδが小さい程、低ロス性に優れることを示す。
上記ゴム組成物を145℃で33分間加硫して得た加硫ゴムに対し、ランボーン型摩耗試験機を用い、室温におけるスリップ率60%での摩耗量を測定し、表3においては比較例1の摩耗量の逆数を100とし、表4においては比較例2の摩耗量の逆数を100としてそれぞれ指数表示した。指数値が大きい程、摩耗量が少なく、耐摩耗性に優れることを示す。

Claims (8)
- 天然ゴムラテックスに極性基含有メルカプト化合物を添加し、該極性基含有メルカプト化合物を天然ゴムラテックス中の天然ゴム分子に付加させてなる変性天然ゴムラテックス。
- 前記極性基含有メルカプト化合物の付加量が、前記天然ゴムラテックス中のゴム成分に対して0.01〜5.0質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の変性天然ゴムラテックス。
- 前記極性基含有メルカプト化合物の極性基がアミノ基、イミノ基、ニトリル基、アンモニウム基、イミド基、アミド基、ヒドラゾ基、アゾ基、ジアゾ基、ヒドロキシル基、カルボキシル基、カルボニル基、エポキシ基、オキシカルボニル基、含窒素複素環基、含酸素複素環基、スズ含有基及びアルコキシシリル基からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の変性天然ゴムラテックス。
- 天然ゴムラテックスに極性基含有メルカプト化合物を添加し、該極性基含有メルカプト化合物を天然ゴムラテックス中の天然ゴム分子に付加させることを特徴とする変性天然ゴムラテックスの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の変性天然ゴムラテックスを凝固及び乾燥してなる変性天然ゴム。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の変性天然ゴムラテックスを凝固及び乾燥することを特徴とする変性天然ゴムの製造方法。
- 請求項5に記載の変性天然ゴムを用いたゴム組成物。
- 請求項7に記載のゴム組成物をタイヤ部材のいずれかに用いたことを特徴とするタイヤ。
