Abstract
【解決手段】 切り屑拘束面(7)と逃げ面との間に形成された2つの切れ刃(4,6)有する1つ又はそれ以上のコーナ(5)を備え、第1の切れ刃(4)は切り屑を排出し、第2の切れ刃は仕上げ面を形成する。第1の切れ刃(4)は真っ直ぐであり、尖鋭境界部を介して第2の切れ刃(6)に変化する。第2の切れ刃(6)も好ましくは真っ直ぐである。2つの切れ刃(4,6)間の尖鋭境界部は、この尖鋭境界部に隣接する逃げ面が互いに鈍角で延びる平面に形成されている事実によって設けられている。

Claims (9)
- 切り屑拘束面(7)と逃げ面(11,12)との間に形成された2つの切れ刃(4,6)を有するコーナ(5)を備え、第1の切れ刃(4)は切り屑を排出し、第2の切れ刃(6)は面を仕上げる旋削インサートであって、
前記第1の切れ刃(4)は、真っ直ぐであり、尖鋭境界部(8)を介して前記第2の切れ刃(6)に変わることを特徴とする旋削インサート。 - 前記第2の切れ刃が真っ直ぐであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の旋削インサート。
- 前記第1、第2の切れ刃(4,6)の間の前記尖鋭境界部(18)は、プリズム状であり、該尖鋭境界部(18)に隣接する前記逃げ面(11,12)が互いに鈍角で交差する平面に形成されることにより設けられ、両切れ刃間の交差点を横切る中断線(19)を介して互いに変化することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の旋削インサート。
- 前記第1の切れ刃(4)は取付角(K)を有し、該取付角は前記第1の切れ刃と前記第2の切れ刃(6)の延長上の想像線との間の角度として定められ、多くとも30゜であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の旋削インサート。
- 前記第1の切れ刃(4)は取付角(K)を有し、該取付角は前記第1の切れ刃と前記第2の切れ刃(6)の延長上の想像線との間の角度として定められ、少なくとも3゜であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の旋削インサート。
- 2つの正反対のコーナ(5)を備え、同時に作用する第2の切れ刃(6)と一対の同じ第1の切れ刃(4)とをそれぞれ分離して含み、前記第2の切れ刃(6)は2つの前記コーナ(5)間の対角線を示す2等分線(B)に対して鋭角(ε)に形成され、前記2つの第1の切れ刃(4)の各々は前記2等分線(B)に対して角度(γ)に形成され、該角度(γ)は前記鋭角(ε)より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の旋削インサート。
- 前記2つの第1の切れ刃(4)の間に横切れ刃(17)が延び、該横切れ刃(17)が少なくとも部分的に直線であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の旋削インサート。
- 前記横切れ刃(17)と各第1の切れ刃(4)との境界部(21)が尖鋭であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の旋削インサート。
- 前記第1の切れ刃(4)から離れている端部において、前記第2の切れ刃(6)は、真っ直ぐで、かつ、前記2等分線(B)に対して角度(α1)を形成する副切れ刃(15)に変わり、前記角度(α1)は前記第2の切れ刃(6)の前記鋭角(ε)よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項6〜8の何れか1項に記載の旋削インサート。
