Abstract
The invention relates to a frame for a window, door or façade element, comprising a frame (1) that is configured as a profile insert (1) with at least one metallic inner profile (3) and at least one metallic outer profile (5), these profiles being interconnected by at least two insulating strips (7, 9). At least one of said insulating strips (9) forms part of a plug-in projection (43) of the frame. The frame preferably interacts with a casement (13) which has at least one metallic inner profile (15) and at least one metallic outer profile (17), these profiles being interconnected by at least one insulating strip (19). The invention is characterised in that the fixing and base areas (47, 49) of the insulating strip (9) of the plug-in projection (43) of the casement (1) are offset from each other on the inner and outer profiles (3, 5) of the frame (1).
Description
The invention relates to a frame for a window, door or facade element according to the preamble of claim 1.
In addition to window frames and casement frames with a common built-up appearance, so-called paneled windows are also known, which are all included in the present invention.
In the case of windows, doors or facade elements in the form of paneled windows, the frame has an outer leaf stop which completely or almost completely covers the leaf frame on the outside of the window, so that in the ideal case it is no longer visible from the outside.
Fig. 3 shows an example of a panel window of this type, the state of the art of which is the applicant. Shown is an insulating profile consisting of a metal profile casing, which forms a frame and a fly frame and is connected by means of insulating strips. The insulating strips form an insulating plane between the profile housings, which limits the heat flow from one profile housing to the other to a minimum. The material of the spacer bars is therefore a poor heat conductor, usually consisting of plastic.
The profiles connected by the spacer are hereinafter referred to as composite profiles. The advantage of such a composite profile with a shear-resistant connection is a higher strength compared to the individual elements-thus resulting in a better static performance. The different materials or strengths of the individual elements to be combined are taken into account in the calculation of the static properties of the composite profile by means of the reduction factor in the calculation formula.
The frame of the window, door or facade unit is either formed as an external closing device for a wall or other structure or is provided with a second stop for an external inclined front rib (laibangssteg). Alternatively, the frame can be provided with a plug-in projection for engagement with a corresponding plug-in recess of an adjacent element. The pane window according to prior art fig. 3 has a frame of this type.
The frame of the panel window in fig. 3 is designed as a pluggable element connection (also called plug-in profile), wherein it can compensate for thermal expansion and is often used on the facade of a house. The insertable frame profile or the associated insertable profile is usually not screwed.
In order to obtain a smooth transition from one profile to the other in the frame of the plug-in profile, it is proposed that the inner and outer profiles of the frame each have an outer limb, which is stepped, for example (see planes A and B), wherein the profile limbs have, at the connection to the step, segments pointing outwards away from the leaf frame, which bear against one another and form the inner wall of the plug-in projection in the plane of the glass or the facade of the building. Although the profile arms lying closely against one another are connected to one another by the spacer, the insulating effect of the frame is reduced in this region by the greater heat transfer between the profile arms lying closely against one another.
Secondly, in order to ensure that the expansion caused by temperature changes is adequately compensated and that good guidance is ensured, the profile arms of the frame are made longer in the region of the projections than the remaining dimensions of the frame. However, in order to ensure sufficiently good static properties of the frame in the region of the projections, the profile arms have a large wall thickness.
The object of the invention is therefore to improve a window, door or facade unit of this type in relation to the prior art in such a way that the material requirement for the metal used to manufacture the frame made as a plug-in profile is reduced and the thermal insulation in the region of the frame bosses is improved.
The invention achieves this object by the content of claim 1. It is therefore provided according to the invention that the fastening region and the root region of at least one of the parting strips of the frame plug-in boss are arranged offset from one another in the plane of the front side of the door, window or building on the inner and outer profile of the frame. This measure allows the arms of the inner and outer profiles of the frame to be significantly shortened or completely omitted in the region of the plug-in cams. The spacer therefore takes almost the task of the profile arm on the inner profile. The metal material required to manufacture the frame reduces and improves the thermal insulation, since the metal with good thermal conductivity is replaced by plastic with poor thermal conductivity of the spacer.
Particularly good static properties are achieved with the profile according to the invention if the webs forming the outer wall of the plug-in projection have cavities, in particular cavities provided with reinforcing ribs.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, at least one spacer arranged between the inner and outer profile of the flyleaf frame tapers from the inner profile to the outer profile, preferably in such a way that the tapered spacer of the flyleaf frame has a wider root region at its inner profile than at its outer profile. This structurally simple solution makes it possible, surprisingly, to use profiles with a narrow frontal width even in larger window sizes.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the remaining dependent claims.
The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of an embodiment with reference to the drawing. They represent:
FIG. 1 is a cross-section of a frame of a panel window according to the present invention;
FIG. 2 the frame of FIG. 1;
fig. 3 shows a cross section of a frame of a prior art panel window.
The composite frame 1 of the panel window according to fig. 1 has an inner aluminum profile 3 and an outer aluminum profile 5, which are fixedly connected to one another by two insulating or insulating strips 7, 9, which are arranged parallel to one another and consist of a poorly heat-conducting material, in particular plastic. On the outer profile 5, perpendicular to the main direction of extension of the frame 1 (or parallel to the glass plane), a stop rib 11 is formed, which completely or almost completely covers the leaf frame 13 on the outside of the window, so that the leaf frame is not visible from the outside.
The composite leaf frame 13 itself has an inner aluminum profile 15 and an outer aluminum profile 17 (note: inner and outer profiles of the frame and leaf frame are also referred to as inner shell and outer shell) which is smaller than the inner profile, wherein the inner profile 15 is fixedly connected to the outer profile 17 by means of a single spacer strip 19 which is likewise composed of a poorly heat-conducting plastic. An inner seal 21, an outer seal 23 and a strip 25 complete the glazing slot for the glass sheet 27.
Since the spacers 19 arranged between the inner and outer profiles 15, 17 of the fly leaf 13 taper from the inner profile to the outer profile, it is possible to realize an outer profile which has a particularly narrow appearance width but which allows comparatively large component (window) dimensions due to good static properties. Good static values are obtained in particular by the comparatively high possibility of designing the root regions of the parting strips which engage in the grooves 31 on the inner shell in a groove-like manner. The root area 29 at the inner profile 15 is made wider than the root area 33 embedded in a corresponding groove 35 on the outer profile 17 due to the tapering of the spacer 19. The tapering of the spacers 19 is caused by rolling on different levels. The tapering of the spacers 19 furthermore facilitates the distribution of forces when counteracting gravity forces and occurring moments.
Secondly, a rib 36 is formed on the separating strip 19 or its top wall in the root region 33 close to the housing 17, said rib extending into the recess between the frame and the leaf frame 1, 13 beyond the boundary of the leaf frame outer profile 17 into the recess between the frame and the leaf frame. This rib 36 and the intermediate seal 37 together delimit the front chamber 39 and the fitting chamber 41. As can be seen from fig. 1, the separating webs 19 of the door leaf 13 project beyond the boundary of the door leaf inner profile 15 into the recesses or fitting chambers 41. This advantageously additionally prevents possible locking elements in the fitting chamber 41 from being destroyed from the outside or being forced too hard.
As can be seen from fig. 2, the frame is then provided with a plug-in projection 43, wherein the separating strip 9 forms a statically significant part of the frame plug-in projection, which is covered only on the outside of the frame 1 by an arm 45 of the outer profile of the frame 1, so that it is not visible from the outside. The inwardly directed spacers 9 however assume the static task that would otherwise be required to be performed by the projecting arms of the inner profile. For this purpose, the webs 9 of the plug-in cams of the frame 1 are arranged offset from one another in the window extension direction E in the fixing region and the root region 47, 49 on the inner and outer profiles 3, 5 of the frame 1.
In order to increase the strength of the insulating strip, a plurality of cavities 51 are provided through which additional reinforcing rails 53 are distributed. The spacer 9 of the plug-in boss has a first base rib 55, on which the root region 47 facing the inner profile 3 is integrally formed, and a second base rib 57 parallel to the first base rib 65, on which the root region 49 facing the outer profile 5 is integrally formed, and at least two transverse ribs 59 running substantially perpendicular to the base ribs, which connect the first and second base ribs 55, 57 to one another. The separating webs 9 are additionally supported on the outer profile 5 by means of supporting lugs 61 which are integrally formed on the first base web 55, so that a static triangle is formed with the other walls 53 and 55 and the web 45 and the supporting lugs 61.
The reference numerals indicate that the inner section 3 of the aluminum of the composite frame 1 is provided with the aluminum outer section 5 isolating strip 7, the 9 stopping rib 11 is combined with the inner section 15 of the aluminum of the door frame 13, the sealing member 21 of the inner section 17 of the aluminum of the door frame 13, the sealing member 23 of the outer section 23, the glass plate 27 of the groove 31, the groove 35 rib 36, the front cavity 39 of the middle sealing member 37, the front cavity 39 of the fitting cavity 41 is provided with the insertion boss 43 and the arm 45, the cavity 49 is provided with the reinforcing crosspiece 53, the basic rib
