Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε μέθοδο και διατάξεις για την παραγωγή αερίων καυσίμων, προερχόμενων από τη μερική οξείδωση ανθράκων σε περιβάλλον υδρατμών. Συγκεκριμένα, ένα ρεύμα αέρα, προερχόμενο από αντλία (3) ή από ΜΕΚ της οποίας τα καυσαέρια διαθέτουνικανή περιεκτικότητα σε οξυγόνο εισάγεται σε θάλαμο οξείδωσης (1) και προσβάλλει επιφανειακά μάζα άνθρακα (2), προκαλώντας μερική καύση και ταυτόχρονα, απόσπαση της επιφανειακής στοιβάδας, την οποία και παρασύρει υπό μορφή διάπυρης σκόνης. Το μίγμα αερίων και διάπυρης σκόνης εισέρχεται σε θάλαμο αντίδρασης (4) στο εσωτερικό του οποίου επικρατεί υψηλή συγκέντρωση ατμών οι οποίοι οξειδώνουν τα διάπυρα σωματίδια άνθρακα, αναγόμενοι προς υδρογόνο. Κατά προτίμηση, το ρεύμα διάπυρων σωματιδίων άνθρακα είναι εμπλουτισμένο με σωματίδια καταλύτη (16)τα οποία ενισχύουν την επιθυμητή χημική αντίδραση. Σε μία υλοποίηση της παρούσας μεθόδου, οι υδρατμοί του χώρου του θαλάμου αντίδρασης είναι εμπλουτισμένοι με οργανικά πτητικά και αέρια που προέρχονταιαπό την θερμική διάσπαση οργανικής μάζας.
