Abstract

971,564. Shuttleless looms. SDRUZENI PODNIKU TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI. Jan. 8, 1962 [Jan. 6, 1961], No. 620/62. Heading D1E. To reduce "take-over" speed a weft holder 9 is moved in the same direction, during take over, as a weft gripper 6 on a flexible band 1. As the gripper jaws 7 slide over the holder 9 the holder is advanced by a cam 13 and lever 14 so that, when its jaws 10 are opened by a lever 20 and when the gripper has traversed it so that the jaws 7 are closing around the weft 19, both holder 9 and gripper 6 are travelling at the same speed.
