Abstract
976,550. Anchor-bolts. BERGWERKSVERBAND G.m.b.H. June 5, 1961 [June 4, 1960], No. 20154/61. Heading F2H. In a process for securing a hollow anchorbolt in the form of a tubular container with perforations in a bore hole by forcing a material to cement the bolt in the hole through the perforations, a synthetic resin mixture is used to cement the anchor-bolt in the innermost part of the hole, the constituents of the mixture, namely the resin, and accelerator on the one hand and hardener on the other hand, are delivered into the interior of the bolt from separate supply containers and are mixed on entering the bolt and forced through the bolt and out through the perforations at the front end thereof and in between it and the hole walls. The said constituents are accommodated in respective sections of the bolt, the perforations of which are initially sealed, and are mixed in and forced out thereof by a plunger guided therein which unseals the perforations by transmitting to the mixture pressure applied to the plunger. The hardener is in a destructible tube, preferably of glass, within the tip of the anchor-bolt extending along the portion of the hole filled with synthetic resin. The tip of the bolt has projections and/or recesses, which preferably comprise a thread.
