Abstract

976,262. Filters for liquids. C. ROBINSON, and G. W. ROBINSON. July 31, 1963 [Aug. 4, 1962], No. 30091/62. Heading B1D. A sector for a pressure filter consists of two complementary halves each having two internal ridges 11 so that when the two halves are placed together, Fig. 6, the ridges abut to form three chambers 12 which communicate with a suction and/or blowing chamber 10, Fig. 1, at the nozzle end. Apertures 18, Fig. 1, in the sector faces provide communication with the exterior. A filter cloth is stretched over each face and is secured in place by a frame 19 secured by screws or the like in a peripheral channel 15 or 16, Fig. 6.
