Abstract

1,136,184. Textile treating apparatus. KLEINEWEFERS G.m.b.H. [trading as JOH. KLEINEWEFERS SOHNE]. 7 July, 1967 [6 Aug., 1966], No. 31452/67. Addition to 1,049,947. Heading D1L. The sealing device disclosed in Specification 1,049,947 is used in a plurality of stages 4, 5, 6 each constructed as previously disclosed and having a chamber 7, 8 for pressure therebetween. In use a series of graded pressure is established in the chamber by gas or liquid including the supply of treatment fluid as for example through sprays 11. Additionally the foils may have ribs thereon to minimise fluttering.
