872,601. Air curtains. STERKEL, R. Sept. 17, 1957 [June 8, 1957], No. 29260/57. Class 137 An air curtain is provided by a mains air distributer 3 extending across substantially the whole width of the opening 1 and having an adjustable d i s - charge aperture to change the angle of the air discharged, sealing means being interposed b e t - ween the wall and the distributer and at least one lateral air distributer 8 on each side of the opening. Various embodiments are disclosed in the Specification, including various sealing arrangements, constructions in which the sealed space has an injector operated by the main air stream and various arrangements of fans.
