Abstract

967,132. Washers; hooks; wood-screws. P. WALMSLEY. Jan. 10, 1963 [Jan. 11, 1962], No. 1077/62. Heading F2H. A wood-screw 1, for screwing into a hole in a peg-board, has a spring clip riveted to it or hook 5 secured to it by soldering, brazing or welding 2 so that a part 6 of the clip or hook forms a T with the screw 1 and a synthetic resin washer 9 is a tight fit on the screw. The washer has a tapered edge 11 and a concave rim surface 10 for bearing on the peg-board and surrounding a concave surface 13 and central boss 14 short of the rim surface 10. There may be ribs 15, also short of the rim 10, radiating from the boss.
