920,220. Pipe etc.; flanges. KRALOVOPOLSKA STROJIRNA ZAVODY CHEMICKYCH ZARIZENI, NARODNI PODNIK. Dec. 31, 1959 [Jan. 9, 1959], No. 137/60. Class 99(1). An annular flange connected with the annular wall of a tubular member 6, e.g. by welding, has a cylindrical inner wall 8 and, opening from a face 1, an annular groove 3 outwardly sloped to define a substantially frusto-conical inner hub portion 4 adapted to form a continuation of the wall of the member 6, the inner wall of the flange being flush with that of the member 6. The face 1 of the flange is engaged by means, such as nuts 2 associated with bolts 7, for coupling the member 6 to another member.
