903,234. Continuous casting machines. AMERICAN SMELTING & REFINING CO. Jan. 6, 1959 [March 26, 1958], No. 5241/62. Divided out of 903,232. Drawings to Specification. Class 83 (1). A method of ensuring continuity of metal discharge from a siphon discharging a freefalling molten metal stream through a gaseous medium, comprises placing the discharge end of the siphon passage under sufficient static head to seal the siphon against ingress of the gaseous medium. The subject-matter of the Specification is identical with that of Specification 903,233 which is referred to, and is contained within the Specification of the original application which is also referred to.
