Abstract

874,619. Sliding clasp fasteners. HANSEN H. April 25, 1958 [April 30, 1957], No. 13262/58' Class 44. A row of fastening elements for a sliding clasp fastener formed as an integral part of a continuous filament 1 is constituted by a series of mutually spaced portions 2, 3, 4 &c. of the filament extending through a plane containing a series of aligned straight intermediate portions 5a, 6a, 7a &c. of the filament alternating with the fastening elements, successive intermediate portions being connected by means of further portions 5b, 6b, 7b &c. of the filament, with the ends of two successive fastening elements on one side of the plane and with the ends of two successive fastening elements on the other side of the plane. The elements which in a modification may be circular in cross-section, are attached to a tape by stitching, Figs. 4-6 (not shown). Specification 838,310 is referred to.
