Abstract

818,804. Brushes; cleaning floors. CIMEXFRASER TUSON Ltd. Jan. 14, 1958 [Jan. 22, 1957], No. 2343/57. Classes 19 and 138(1). The stock 12 of a brush for a rotary floorpolishing machine is specially shaped at one of the pairs of opposed sides to facilitate entry by an acurate motion into a clip 14 with inturned ends 16. Each of the shaped sides is defined by two arcs of radii not greater than the maximum distance between the upright portions 15 of the clip that is secured to the rotor disc 10 of the floor-cleaning machine. The arcs are struck about centres located at or near the opposite end of the adjacent side of the stock. A bow spring 17 straddles the clip to press the stock against the inturned ends.
