817,476. Laying a rope on a winch drum. JENNINGS WINCH & FOUNDRY CO. Ltd., and JENNINGS, H. Feb. 15, 1957 [Feb. 22, 1956], No. 5511/56. Class 78 (5). A ship's rope 35 is led from derrick 11 around pulley 16 mounted on fixed frame 12 and then around pulleys 22, 23 to winch drum 36, the pulleys 22, 23 being mounted on triangular frame 20 which pivots on pins 32, 33. So as to follow the rope as it is laid upon the winch drum.
