A device for dividing plastic masses, e.g. dough, into equal parts comprises a recipro. cally movable or intermittently rotatable slide 3 having two or more open-ended measuring chambers 4, 5 which can be displaced to different positions in a horizontal slide channel 2, in each of which positions the upper opening of one chamber (4) is located below a supply opening 6, while another chamber (5) is located below a hole or group of holes (8<SP>1</SP>, 82)which can communicate with a source of compressed air for ejecting the divided mass through an opening 12 in the lower wall of the slide channel. Air outlet openings 13 are provided in the lower wall of the channel 2 below the opening 6. The walls of the chambers 4, 5 and slide channel 2 are preferably coated with a moisture-proof material, e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene.
