Abstract

1471201 Moulding foam filled panels COPLASTIX Ltd 7 Jan 1975 [16 March 1974] 11806/74 Heading B5A [Also in Division E1] A penstock door is made by arranging a pair of skins 10 in superimposed relationship on a frame consisting of a central member 13 and a plurality of transverse strips 14. The skins are spaced apart by the frame and by peripheral wall members 11, 12 to form a hollow closed casing having at least one feed aperture 19 and at least one bleed aperture such as 20a or 21. A predetermined quantity of a foamable liquid is injected into the casing through the feed aperture(s) and displaced air escapes through the bleed aperture(s).
