Abstract
814,566. Spray-producers. COLARIT KORROSIONSSCHUTZ-G.m.b.H. Jan. 1, 1957 [Jan. 3, 1956], No. 59/57. Class 69 (3). A compressed air operated spray gun has a frusto-conical burner 2 arranged coaxial with and in front of the spray nozzle 1. The burner is comprised by a double-walled casing, the inner surface of which is perforated for the emission of combustion gas supplied through a conduit 3. A perforated diaphragm 5 regulates the amount of air sucked into the burner chamber. In a modification the compressed air for operating the gun is preheated by being fed into a casing which surrounds the burner. In Fig. 3 a cylindrical casing 9 preheats the compressed air which is supplied through a conduit 10 and leaves from a conduit 11. Alternatively, the air is heated by being fed to a frustoconical casing 12, Fig. 4, within the burner chamber.
