Abstract

802,320. Two-part couplings. CABLE MAKERS AUSTRALIA PROPRIETARY, Ltd. April 25, 1957 [May 4, 1956], No. 13248/57. Class 38 (1). A socket connector 4 carries a resilient, channel-shaped sealing collar 7 embracing a peripheral bead 6 on the socket and adapted to snap over a bead 5 on the plug connector 3. The bead 6 is spaced from the outer face of the socket so that an oversize plug or a wrongly applied plug will slide the collar clear of said outer face. The collar may be mounted on the plug.
