Abstract

767,886. Nozzles. ALEXANDER, G. H. Feb. 9, 1955 [March 12, 1954], No. 3938/55. Class 69.(3). Water supplied to the rear end of a hollow body 1 passes through diametrically-opposed apertures 7 therein and into a passage 13 between the body and a cap 8, and then flows about a core 3 before leaving the nozzle outlet 11. The cap is adjustably threaded to the body to enable the nozzle outlet, and hence the water delivery therefrom, to be varied. A conical part 12 assists the flow through the apertures 7. A flange 16 is spun on the cap after assembly to prevent removal of the cap from the body, and a sealing washer 17 is provided.
