Abstract

1333091 Ejectors VOLSTATIC COATINGS Ltd 11 Nov 1971 [12 Nov 1970] 53953/70 Heading F1E [Also in Division B2] An ejector for delivering powder to a spray gun comprises a duct formed by a flexible hose 8 and a pipe 1 around which is an element 4 supplied with gas through an inlet 5, the gas flowing through a passage 6 and an annular nozzle 7 to cause a suspension of powder and gas to flow into the pipe 1 through an end 2 for subsequent delivery to the gun. The inlet 5 may open tangentially into the passage 6 to produce a whirling motion in the gas/powder mixture.
