Abstract

656,163. Electric discharge lamps. LUMALAMPAN AKTIEBOLAG. June 23, 1948, No. 16937. [Class 39 (i)] A tubular, fluorescent, electric discharge lamp has the electrodes assembled on a common support consisting of a glass tube 5 coated with fluorescent material. The lamp is provided with one screw cap end 1 only, the leads 6 to the further electrode 11 being taken inside the glass supporting tube 5. Both electrodes 11, 2 or, as shown, only the further one 11, may be covered with a vaporizing protector 13. A glow relay or similar device may be fitted into the end cap 1.
