603,410. Vehicle wheels. HUGHES, Ltd., G. H., and ROWE, A. B. Oct. 20, 1945, No. 27637. [Class 144 (i)] A hub for a perambulator or like wheel comprises a barrel 12 adapted to fit on the axle and end spokeflanges 13, 14 which are braced by cupped members 15 abutting at the centre-line of the hub. As shown, the abutting ends of the cups 15 are flared to engage an annular rib 12b pressed out of the barrel 12. In a modification, the barrel is provided with an axial rib forming end-stops for the spoke-flanges.
