Abstract
598,286. Projection screens. HARKNESS, T. S. Oct. 29, 1945, No. 28567. [Class 97 (i)] A projection screen comprises a plurality of perforated homogeneous strips of a thermoplastic synthetic resin, the adjoining margins being adhered to form a sheet, the. strips being of a colour suitable for the finished screen or provided with a suitably coloured coating, the sheet being eyeletted and mounted by taping. Polyvinyl chloride with a white composition is a suitable material and the margins may be softened and joined by heat and pressure. Heat may be provided by a high-speed friction roller or high-frequency electric heating.
