771,836. Coated fabric. GALON AKTIE. BOLAG, and LOFGREN, S. I. Nov. 2, 1954 [Nov. 11, 1953], No. 31632/54. Class 140. In the coating of an elastic sheet material, e.g. tricot, with one or more layers of a thermoplastic resin, e.g. polyvinyl chloride or rubber as a paste, the elastic sheet material is supported by a backing of a less elastic material, e.g. paper, cardboard, steel foil, woven glass fabric, or relatively non-elastic textile fabric. The backing may cover part only of the elastic sheet material. It may be attached by means of an aqueous solution of glue. It may be permanently united to the elastic sheet material or may be removed after the coating process.
