[Class 99 (ii)] In a flexible tube having fabric or like material between inner and outer helical wires a, e, the fabric or like material comprises a layer c of heat-insulating asbestos felt between lining b and covering d of fabric, and the wires a, e are of the same pitch and positioned so as to interlock with one another. The lining b and covering d may be of heat-resisting asbestos cloth and either or both may be impregnated with a plastic or waterproofing material, for example an acetyl cellulose composition.
