377,306. Indicating liquid levels. FIELDING, W. R., Manor House, Manor Road, Fleetwood, Lancashire. Nov. 3, 1931, No. 3364. [Class 123 (i).] A dip-stick for indicating the level in petrol tanks, oil sumps of motor vehicles, and the like is provided with a part D of reduced diameter to indicate a predetermined low or " danger" level. The graduations above this level may be formed by progressive steps such as C, or by grooves, notches, beads, bulbs or cups, or the graduated portion may be tapered. The graduations F read downwardly to indicate the amount of liquid to be added to bring the level to a predetermined point.
