Abstract

This invention is a folding cabin having floor (11, 13) vertical sides (15, 16) and a pitched roof (20) having a fixed ridge angle (18). There are hinged joints (14, 17 19, 21, and 23) of which one (19) is capable of folding through an angle of greater than 180 DEG enabling the cabin to be folded for transportation to have an overall width (in chain lines) substantially less than the cabin when unfolded (solid lines). During folding the roof moves down as the floor moves up to give some counter-balancing of weights. <IMAGE>
