Abstract

A door support for use with upwardly opening rolling doors (27), particularly industrial doors, comprises a rolled channel member (20) of S-shaped cross-section. This section provides two channels (21, 22) in side-by-side disposition, each of rectangular cross-section and having their openings (23, 24) on opposite sides of the member (20). A door edge (26) is entrained to run in a first channel (21) which has an opening (23) of less width than that of the first channel (21). The other channel (22) has an opening (24) of width equal to its own width which is at least as great as that of the first channel (21) and provides a flange (30) by means of which the member (20) is attached to the door surround (31). <IMAGE>
