Abstract

An article of furniture assembled from interlocking upper 2, side 3, and back 10 panels, of which each side panel comprises spaced parallel walls, wherein the upper panel is solid and has a moulded covering 6 of synthetic resin, the moulded covering including at the rear of the upper panel downwardly directed spaced apart lips 11 which form a channel receiving an upper edge of the rear panel and the moulded covering also including at the sides of the upper panel, downwardly directed tabs 8 fitting between the spaced walls of the side panels. <IMAGE>
