Abstract

1500611 Picture frames MARLEY HOMES Ltd 6 Jan 1976 [10 Jan 1975] 1103/75 Heading A4X [Also in Divisions El and F2] A frame comprises four elongate members making four identical corner joints each member being square cut at one end and at the other end machined to a shape which mates with a squarecut end of a second such member to form a corner. The members may be of Z section having a web with a flange 5 for mounting and flanges 4 forming channels for glazing e.g. sliding windows; the raised channels 3 receive self-tapping screws passing through holes 9. A cover strip 8 snaps on to clips 7 and conceals the fixing screws in holes 6. The members may be all alike or in pairs, two sides and top-and bottom-members. A frame to convert existing singleto double-glazing or a picture frame may be made up from a kit of parts.
