167,073. Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., and Macbeth, C. July 15, 1920. T y r e s , elastic, special apparatus for making.-A machine for use in making tyre-covers is provided with a series of independently - rotatable core-spindles. In the construction shown, the core-spindles D are driven by gears D' and pinions E' on the shafts of separate electric motors E. The latter are adjustable along the bed-plates Ex for substitution of different-sized pinions E<1>. In a modification, the pinions are carried on countershafts with clutch connections to a main driving- shaft.
