Abstract
1532280 Underground gallery wall linings BERGWERKSVERBAND GmbH 26 Nov 1976 [23 Dec 1975] 49366/76 Heading E1F Lining of a gallery, primarily for the preventing and combating of mine fires, comprises laying strips of flexible, resilient, self extinguishing, anti static material over the roof and walls of the gallery so that the strips adjoin one another, securing the strips to the roof and walls, sealing the adjoining edges of the strips together and sealing the strips at the bottom of the walls to the gallery floor. The strips may overlap and may be secured to the gallery supports. The material may be a vulcanizable, chlorine-containing rubber, a chlorbutadiene rubber that may contain as filler 30% to 50% by volume of chlorparaffin or 50% by volume of hydrated aluminium silicate, or epichlorhydine containing 24 to 38% of chlorine, or a chlorsulphonated polyethylene with a chorine content of 26 to 43% by volume, or a polyvinyl chloride. Reinforcements of textile or wire fabric or fibre may be incorporated in the material.
