Abstract

1468833 Laminated thermally-insulating sheet BRICELL PLASTICS Ltd and W B IMISON 15 July 1974 [13 July 1973] 33458/73 Heading B5N [Also in Division F2] A thermally-insulating mat or blanket of quadrilateral configuration comprises flexible sheets 11 joined to form pockets 12 each of which is substantially wholly filled by at least one sheet 13 of expanded polystyrene. The periphery may be reinforced by one or more strips 15 or by folds in the sheets 11. Rings or eyelets 16 enable two or more mats to be joined. The sheets 11 and strips 15 may be of polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride or canvas. The mat is used for tent groundsheets, lagging tanks and protecting uncured concrete and as a floating cover for reservoirs.
