Abstract

1525144 Collapsible roof trusses MOELVEN BRUG AS 15 Sept 1976 [18 Sept 1975] 38238/76 Heading E1W A collapsible roof truss comprises two rafters 3, 4 hinged together at their ends 8 and connected adjacent their other ends to the respective ends of atie beam 2 by means of links 9, 10 each pivoted at their ends to the respective ends of the tie beam and rafters. In its collapsed condition the rafters 3, 4 are colinear and lie along side the tie beam 2. A higher ridge may be provided by forming the rafters as telesecopically adjustable elements. The truss may be braced in its errected condition by a supplementary tie beam (21) Fig. 3 (not shown). A plurality of trusses may be joined to form a collapsible roof provided with covering sheets already fixed in place.
