Abstract

The device comprises a rotatably mounted member in the form of a ring (9), the centre of rotation of which is in the longitudinal axis of a needle cylinder (1). The ring (9) is provided with segments or working projections (10, 11) for the alternate actuation of thread guides (2, 3) of at least one knitting system, this ring (9) being connected mechanically to a rearwardly movable member (13, 14) of a drive mechanism (15, 16, 20). This makes it possible to ensure that the striping of all the knitting systems is actuated centrally by means of a relatively simple device. <IMAGE>
