Abstract

1519393 Lampholders PARK ROYAL PORCELAIN CO Ltd 4 Feb 1977 [20 Feb 1976 7 May 1976 14 June 1976] 06818/76 Heading H2E A bayonet-fitting lamp holder, or an insert for such a lamp holder, comprises an insulating body, e.g. of ceramic, spaced contact pins 4 that are spring biased outwards and connectors 8 for electrical conductors (not shown), the pins and connectors being separate and being held in position in the body by springs 5 compressed between pin and connector with the reaction of the springs taken against abutments in the body. Each connector 8 has a recess 10 to receive the end of a spring 5, the spring being compressed by a suitable tool (not shown) while the connector 8 is inserted into the laterally extending aperture 9<SP>11</SP>.
