Abstract
1507168 Treating exhaust gases AIR PRODUCTS & CHEMICALS INC 16 July 1975 [11 Sept 1974] 29914/75 Heading C1A [Also in Division B1] Carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in engine exhaust gases are oxidized by contact with monolithic, supported catalysts comprising platinum and palladium on a gamma-alumina coated alpha alumina monolith having a longitudinal bore and radial channels the active metals having been applied by spraying a solution of their compounds onto the surface of the bore while rotating the monolith about its longitudinal axis and then calcining the impregnated monolith.
