Abstract

1320643 Panelled structure O C ECKEL 19 April 1971 9875/71 Heading E1W [Also in Division F2] Panels 13 are formed of two opposed tray like members 14, 16 which may have perforations P and which abut along flanges 20, 24. The panels are filled with glass fibre 12 and are formed of galvanized sheet metal. The panels are connected by clamping the flanges 20, 24 of adjacent panels between the flanges 36, 40 and 50, 54 of opposed metal channel elements 38, 42 by means of a bolt 82 passing through the web of one channel 38 and engaging a threaded member 74 either welded to the other member or to an intermediate strip 72 engaged in the other member. Glass fibre 76 may be used as sound insulating packing in the member 42. Compressible strips may be placed between the flanges 20, 24 and the flanges 36, 40, 50, 54.
