Abstract

1493032 Pressurized dispensing containers AEROSOL INVENTIONS & DEVELOPMENT SA 14 Feb 1975 [19 Feb 1974 and 18 Dec 1974] 6312/75 Heading F1R An actuator cap 1 for a pressurized dispenser 6 has an integral top 4 and a separate button 2 is inserted into the cap from the open end. The button 2 has a projecting tongue 9 which is received in guide rails 10 and is held in position by a projection 12 which engages a groove 13 in the tongue. The main portion of the button is connected to the tongue by a portion which forms a hinge. Ribs 20, 21 guide the button into assembled position in which projections 18 and lugs 17 on a removable portion 14 of the top 4 engage the portion 19 of the button. As shown the button has a guide sleeve 8' which is engageable with the valve pedestal of a container and the cap snaps on to the seam of the container; alternatively the cap may snap on to a mounting ring carried by the valve cap mounting seam. The cap and ring mounting may be as described in Specification 1493031.
