Abstract

1479735 Foundations for buildings; structural bars BRITISH ALUMINIUM CO Ltd 23 Aug 1974 [25 Aug 1973] 40369/73 Headings E1A and E1K A base frame, for a portable building to be erected on sloping ground, consists of a series of pairs of elements, each pair comprising an L section element 2 and a T section element 1, each of integral construction, the elements being arranged with their upright flanges abutting in side-by-side, overlapping, relationship, these flanges 1B, 2B, being connected by bolts 7 passed through slotted apertures 6 in one or both of the flanges 1B, 2B, whereby the top of the base frame can be made level by adjustment of the relative positions of the flanges after which the bolts 7 are tightened to secure the flanges 1B, 2B in adjusted position.
