Abstract
1472890 Twopart coupling KABELUKD METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE AG 30 Dec 1974 [23 April 1974] 56019/74 Heading H2E A socket for fixing on the end of an electric lead comprises an insulating, one-piece body 12 preferably of a plasticized polyvinyl chloride, injection moulded around an insulating insert 4 preferably of polyamide resin, which retains contact bushes 7, 8 having resilient contact portions which are freely movable in their radial direction. The conductors of the lead (not shown) are attached to connection lugs 9, 10. Portions of the insert 4 in contact with the bushes 7, 8 are of reduced thickness so that the latter are gripped by the pressure of the body 12.
