Abstract

1470161 Prefabricated room units J ALAM 19 Feb 1974 [13 Jan 1973] 1913/73 Heading E1A A prefabricated room unit of framework construction is provided externally with a durable and firm outer covering whilst the inner sides of the walls and the ceiling have adhered thereto, or are adapted to receive a plaster skin. The framework 12 may be made of wood or of extruded aluminium of channel section; the exterior of the framework having wire mesh 16 attached thereto and an outer covering of concrete. The floor of the unit may be covered with wood or tiles and the unit may be provided with service conduits, lifting lugs and spaces for the insertion of doors and windows 21, 22. The inner wall may be covered by plaster boards and the cavity, if desired, filled with concrete. For numerous minor details concerning layouts, finishes, joints &c the Specification and remaining drawings, (not shown), should be referred to.
