1456645 Multi-storey building F M NIEVES 16 Nov 1973 [15 Dec 1972 3 Feb 1973] 53289/73 Heading E1A A multi-storey building is assembled from super-posed elements each having a horizontal panel and two vertical side flanges, each flange combining with the flange of an above or below element to form a vertical wall of a room. The elements may be channel sectioned, Fig. 17 (not shown) or, as shown, H sectioned. The elements are formed with metal plates 4 where they join which are welded to an interposed plate 5. The upper surfaces of the horizontal panels are coated with mortar before placing the next higher element. The elements may include reinforcement ribs, apertures for doors, conduits for cables &c.
