Abstract
1461310 Burners BICKLEY FURNACES Inc 26 Feb 1974 [10 April 1973] 27262/76 Divided out of 1461309 Heading F4T The subject matter of this specification is substantially the same as that described in the parent, but the claims are concerned with a furnace burner assembly having a combustion chamber provided with an aligned fuel nozzle at one end and arranged to direct a high velocity combustion products gas stream from its other end, wherein means (70), Fig. 5 (not shown), are provided for introducing dilution air into the combustion products gas stream along at least one pair of jet paths oppositely inclined at an acute angle to the flow path of said gas stream so that the flows of dilution air are directed towards said flow path in opposed relation and along the direction of flow of said gas stream.
