Abstract

1441355 Anchors M L STINNES 9 Oct 1974 [12 Oct 1973] 43789/74 Heading B7S An anchor comprises a shank 2, a pair of anchor arms 6, a shackle 23 and a stock 8 having a pair of arms 12 projecting to opposite sides of the shank. The arms of the stock are concave facing away from the end of the shank at which the anchor arms are secured. The stock is movable on the shank from a working position in which it is located near the shackle and its arms are in a plane normal to the plane in which the anchor arms lie, to a storing position in which its arms are located closely adjacent to and in the same plane as the pair of anchor arms.
